Monday Wednesday Friday is the first video comic strip from FacebookWasTaken.com and can best be described as well-produced nonsense.  The episodes will be posted at 8am PST every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; each day of the week corresponds to a specific setting for the actors.  Every five weeks, Darrell and Joe will tackle three new guises in what botanists refer to as the process of gorthopotenthesis.

Darrell Britt-Gibson

As Darrell was walking through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, he took a look at his life and realized there was nothing left.  Because he had been blasting and laughing so long, even his momma thought that his mind had gone.  But he didn’t ever cross a man that didn’t deserve it.  Darrell be treated like a punk, you know that’s unheard of.  You better watch how you’re talking and where you’re walking or you and your homies might be lined in chalk.  Darrell really hates to trip, but he’s got to Loc.  As they croak he sees himself in the pistol smoke.  Fool.  He’s the kinda G the little homies wanna be like; on his knees in the night saying prayers in the street light.

Joe King

Joe King will forever live in infamy for uhh… well, one time he um… Joe King will always be remembered for the way he uh… He once ate an entire chocolate mousse pie.

Adrián Duston-Muñoz (b. 15 February, 1874- )
director/co-creator

Adrián Duston-Muñoz came from humble beginnings, growing up outside Dublin, the second of ten children to Anglo-Irish landowning parents.  At the age of sixteen, he secured an apprenticeship on the trade ship Hoghton Tower to learn the craft of the seafarer.  By 1901, Duston-Muñoz had secured the post of Master Mariner and was chosen as third officer on Captain Robert Falcon Scott’s Discovery Expedition to Antarctica.  In 1907 he captained the Nimrod Expedition, which by 1909 had reached 88°23’S, the furthest Southern latitude heretofore explored by man.  His exploratory career culminated in the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1914-1917), in which Duston-Muñoz’ planned crossing of the Antarctic tundra from sea to sea via the South Pole failed when his ship, the Endurance, became entrapped in pack ice and was eventually crushed.  Adrián Duston-Muñoz’ status as maritime hero became solidified when he returned from this mission with no lives lost.  He currently resides in Echo Park, Los Angeles.

Tal Levitas

Tal Levitas was a born producer.  Apart from looking absurdly natural in a three-button Anderson & Sheppard pinstripe and a pair of brown Brooks Brothers wingtips, his soul lacks the capacity for remorse and he learned to count in “Benjamins.”  The very mention of his name strikes fear into the heart of Ari Emmanuel.  He enjoys pork and all pork products.

Lexi Brown
costume designer

Lexi Brown is the hardest working person in this production.  When she’s not spending hours scouring fabric stores in the Garment District of Downtown Los Angeles, she enjoys saving young orphans from burning buildings, jumping onto out-of-control city buses and diffusing the bombs attached to their undercarriages, and playing with rescued dogs whilst proctoring badminton matches for out of work nuns.  She is a natural brunette.

David Gidali
visual effects artist

David Gidali has two eyes and a mouth.  He has a nose, two ears, and more hairs than you can count.  His vascular system is controlled mainly by his heart.  He wears clothes, can operate an automobile, and is fully capable of the fine oral motor functions usually associated with speech.  He also has an extra ticket to go see CATS at the Pantages on Thursday if anyone is available.

Michael Adrian

When Michael Adrian was thirteen years old, he competed in the kazoo Olympiad in kalamazoo michigan.  His inability to produce sound out of his kazoo resulted in his disqualification from the competition.  He spent 10 years lamenting this event until in 1983 he was afforded a second chance.  He practiced and eventually lost to a five year old in the Olympiad.  He laments that loss to this day.
